Don’t begin your business with delusions of overnight success … it just ain’t gonna happen, girl. You’ll need funds to tide you over while your business grows. Put some money aside to tide you over until you do start earning revenue.
3. Organise your time.
Being a responsible business owner and mum means managing your time wisely. Initially, you will need to spend extra time making your vision a reality. Get yourself organised now. Are there certain times in the day that your little ones’ nap/chill? This would be a great place to schedule in some hustle time.
Also, don’t be scared to ask for extra help while you’re setting up your business. Get your partner to pick up some of the household tasks or ask a family member or friend to have the kiddies for you a few hours a week.
4. Organise your space.
You can’t run a business effectively if you are wasting time looking for an important receipt under reams of loose paper. Take time to organise your home office space and make sure you can function efficiently.
